Welcome to Bonstetten and Switzerland!

We are delighted that you have chosen Bonstetten as your new home in the beautiful "Säuliamt" in the Affoltern district. Our municipality, which is close to the city, offers a good infrastructure, a distinctive association life as well as sports facilities in clubs and in the nature.

If you intend to live in Switzerland permanently, you should integrate yourself here as good as possible. Therefore, get involved with your integration as early as possible!

What does integration mean?
Integration is a two-way process involving both the Swiss and the foreign population. On the one hand, integration presupposes the openness of the Swiss population. On the other hand, immigrants are expected to make an effort to integrate and to comply with our rules and laws. Ultimately, the goal is for everyone to live together in mutual respect and tolerance based on the values of the Federal Constitution.

Sie ziehen neu nach Bonstetten? Wir heissen Sie herzlich willkommen! 

Für eine Anmeldung aus dem Ausland müssen Sie persönlich bei uns am Schalter vorbei kommen. 

Die Anmeldung muss innerhalb von 14 Tagen ab Wohnsitznahme / Einreise und bei ausländischen Staatsangehörigen auch vor der Aufnahme der Erwerbstätigkeit erfolgen. 
 

Benötigte Dokumente

Welche Unterlagen wir von Ihnen für die Anmeldung benötigen entnehmen Sie bitte dem
Merkblatt "Anmeldung bei der Gemeinde".

In den folgenden Fällen sind zusätzliche Formulare erforderlich. Bitte laden Sie das Formular vorgängig herunter und bringen Sie dieses ausgefüllt mit den benötigten Beilagen zur Anmeldung mit.

Die Anmeldegebühr beträgt Fr. 40.-- pro erwachsener Person. Bei ausländischen Staatsangehörigen fallen zusätzlich die ausländerrechtlichen Gebühren an.

 

Obligatorische Krankenversicherungspflicht in der Schweiz

Beim Zuzug aus dem Ausland ist uns innert 90 Tagen ab dem Einreisedatum der Nachweis über den Abschluss einer schweizerischen Krankenversicherung vorzulegen. Bitte senden Sie uns dazu die Kopie der Versicherungspolice (KVG) per Post oder E-Mail zu.

Beantragung einer Aufenthaltsbewilligung

(Aufenthalt länger als drei Monate oder 90 Arbeitstage)

Das Aufenthaltsrecht im Kanton Zürich und in der Schweiz wird durch das Migrationsamt des Kantons Zürich geprüft. Die Gesuchstellung erfolgt über die Wohnsitzgemeinde bei der Anmeldung. Die Gesuchsunterlagen werden anschliessend von uns ans Migrationsamt übermittelt. Nach der erfolgten Anmeldung dürfen Sie Ihrer Erwerbstätigkeit nachgehen.

Für die Antragstellung sind die bereits erfolgte Einreise und die persönliche Anwesenheit zwingend notwendig. Die ausländerrechtliche Bewilligung kann nicht vor der Einreise beantragt werden.

Zuzug mit Hund

Wird ein Hund aus dem Ausland importiert, muss die Kontrolle des Datenchips und die Übernahme der Daten in die schweizerische Chipdatenbank innert 10 Tagen über einen schweizerischen Tierarzt erfolgen. Der Hund muss zudem bei der Gemeinde angemeldet werden. Wir benötigen dafür den Heimtierausweis.

Die online Anmeldung (eUmzug) ist beim Zuzug aus dem Ausland nicht möglich.

 

Meldefrist / Ordnungsbusse

Die Meldefrist (gesetzliche Frist) beträgt 14 Tage ab Zuzug.

Wir machen Sie darauf aufmerksam, dass das Nichteinhalten der Meldefrist eine Ordnungsbusse von Fr. 100.-- (§3 i.V.m. §31 MERG und §2 Ziff. Anhang 1 Ziff. 1 KOBV) zur Folge haben kann.
